Miss Cindy and friends.

Dear Miss Cindy,
My name is Nulu and I have many friends like Namakula Rabiha, Nada, Reagan, Samiha (we call her BIG because she is fat).
We love you so much at our school. We read your letter sometimes and we get so happy. I think you are like Mr. Bawalagga, our teacher. He also loves teaching us and also being with us all the time. He loves the young children in school and if he is not at school I feel bad because he teaches me maths very well. Our teacher tells us interesting stories in our classes. You really must like him.
I am so thankful to you Mrs. Cindy and your friends for loving us. Thank you for everything you do. Our teacher says you have just begun school and here we are about to end the year. Christmas is coming up soon and I love it. I pray that I will be able to send my friends a gift,

Your friend in Uganda
Nulu

How to Pass Mathematics.

I discovered the trick to pass mathematics than never.; My teacher always told me never to be negative about this subject; he told me to solve at least ten numbers a day; use my friends before using the teacher but this has been the story to my success in mathematics. To all you my friends who think mathematics is hard, try my trick and you will not regret.

Girls' Day

Many people think going to school is obvious but this not true, however it takes a lot of courage and support; not only financial but also mental and moral support to the young generation. The wave of challenges they face especially in developing world has seen many of them drop out of schools. The girl child especially in Uganda faces a lot of oppression and so many discontinue with studying. Petty things have landed our dear young girls into problems with selfish men especially in slums like ours.
Many young girls especially 14 to 18 years have been deceived by people with simple gifts to woo them from the right channel of education; but remember my young generation, that is just short -lived, many good things are in the future so value the opportunity of education.

We have organized a seminar that will take place on the 18th of November and we shall have many speakers from Christ the King Church , Victory Church, Hon. Maria Kagimu, Child Need Africa and many local leaders and gospel artists. We expect a lot of advice from them ,so do not miss.
Inform all friends.

Life had not come to an end.

When my teacher told me that life cannot end until it ends, I did not understand what he really meant. Last year I sat for my primary leaving examinations and I thought that was the end of life because I did not have hope that one day I will ever go to school again because our school goes only up to primary seven. So I wondered how and what I could do thereafter but there is a Living God that has enabled me to go to school in this new year.
I will always be grateful to my teachers for the love and care.

Harriet.

A Great Opportuinty in my Life.

Oh GOD, this day has been so great for me. I thought studying had ended last year after I sat for my primary Leaving examinations but I thank GOD and my teacher, Mr. Bawalagga Yaledi for his effort to find me a sponsor who will take me through my O- level secondary level for 4 years. This is my a very great opportunity for me. God always help me and I know I will achieve more in my life.

Thank you all our friends for inspiring us,

Your friend in Uganda,
Edith.

We shall dance for you one day.

Here we were ready to perform for the visitors that came from the Local Council Division and they loved the magic in the dances! I love dancing so much and I hope when I grow up, I will be a great dancer. In the picture,  we were dressed to perform a dance called Rack Rack dance from Northern part of Uganda . We can explore the whole Uganda by just getting the dances of different tribes. I wish that you can come to Uganda and we dance for you. By the way, how is Mrs. Susan and Mrs. Harriet? I remember they came to our school and found us training but now we are so perfect. Do you also dance at your school? I love the band, do you have a band at McKay Creek Elementary School?

We Love Our Teacher so Much.

We love our teachers so much and they also love us so much. We always love to be with them and they give us a lot of care and comfort. Do you love your teachers? On left is teacher Fred and on right with me(Nevia) is Mr. Bawalagga Yaledi, my most loved teacher.

My first Vist to The NILE.

Hey friends, I took this photo when I went to visit the source of the Nile. The Nile is the longest river in Africa, and probably the longest in the world. I loved the tour around the falls and so I can now answer all questions related to this place where we went.

It was really a great day for me.

I loved the magic of the water.

video
IT WAS VERY GREAT MOMENT FOR ME TO VISIT THE ITANDA FALLS ON RIVER NILE.

THE LONGEST RIVER IN THE WORLD.

videoIt was really an amazing time for us when we went to see one of the falls on River Nile. Have you heard about this river? This is thought to be the longest river in the world. It starts in Uganda and runs through three countries until it finally drains into the North of Africa in the Mediterranean Sea. I wish you come and I take you to the Itanda falls. There are some many falls but some have been destroyed when the government is constructing the electricity power plants.
I hope you like that sound of the water,
Your lovely friend in Uganda,
LINDAH.

VISIT TO INTANDA FALLS, ON RIVER NILE.

video We visited some of the falls found on River Nile, the world's longest river. Can you imagine that at that speed, it is said that the water takes about three months to reach its mouth in Mediterranean sea. I really enjoyed watching how water rushed dowm the falls.

What falls do you have near you?
